Purchased Loans
If we purchase part of an asset, and not the whole loan asset is it reportable?[:0]
In reviewing the HMDA Getting It Right!, page 9 states Transactions Not To Be Reported, the second bullet in the right most columns states "The acquisition of only a partial interest in a home purchase or home improvement loan or a refinancing by your institution, even if you have participated in the underwriting and origination of the loan (such as in certain consortium loans).". This would appear to be the answer to your question.
