HMDA and Commercial
Couple of requests to the ever wise forum watchers. 1. Does someone have a distilled explanation of when HMDA is applicable within the commercial lending arena - 2. Could someone provide a link to the specific section of the regs that may shed some light on the above issue - the regulators seem to have some disagreement amongst themselves
You may have already done this, but you can go to the following link which is a PDF version of the HMDA Getting it Right Guide and search for "commercial" with in the PDF. Most of the info you are looking for should be there... http://www.ffiec.gov/hmda/pdf/guide.pdf If you need more check out the HMDA Staff Commentary at http://www.ffiec.gov/HMDA/pdf/regulationc2004.pdf and again search the PDF for commercial.
